Publishing your profile
Preview your page, publish it, share the link, and get listed in the League OS marketplace.
Overview
Until you publish, your profile is a draft and only you can see it. Publishing does two things:
- It gives you a public page that anyone with the link can open. You get one whatever roles you offer.
- If StatsCentral has verified you as a game official (statistician, referee, umpire or scorekeeper), leagues can find you in the League OS marketplace and send you offers.
Before you publish
The Ready to publish panel on Services lists what a published profile needs:
| Item | Where to fill it in |
|---|---|
| Services and deliverables | Services → What you offer |
| Experience | Services → What you offer |
| Sports | Added when StatsCentral approves a role application |
| Rate | Services → Your rate |
| Service area | Services → Where you work |
| Availability | Availability: weekly hours, or the note under them |
If something is missing when you publish, the page tells you what to fix.
Preview, then publish
- Click Preview public page. You see the page exactly as visitors will, including your roles, rate, weekly hours and the next few days off.
- Click Back to my services.
- Under Publishing, tick Publish my profile.
- Click Save services.
The banner at the top of Services changes to Your profile is published, with a View your public page link. Copy that link to share it.
Confirm your email first
A published profile only goes public once you've confirmed your email address. Until then the banner reads Confirm your email to go public. Use Send a new link if the first email didn't arrive. Confirming your email also matters for League OS: a verified game official appears in the marketplace only once their email is confirmed.
Which roles show where
Your public page lists every role on your profile, and marks the ones StatsCentral has verified with Verified by StatsCentral. The League OS marketplace lists verified game officials only. If you offer media or team-staff roles alone, you still get a public page, but leagues can't book you through League OS yet. The League OS panel on Services links to Apply for a game-official role when that applies to you.
Unpublishing
Untick Publish my profile and save to take your page down and drop out of the marketplace. Unpublishing doesn't cancel work you've already accepted: those bookings stay in Bookings.
If you're published but leagues still can't find you, work through Why leagues can't find me.
