After you apply
What each application status means, how to answer a change request, and how to withdraw.
Overview
Every role you apply for shows its status under Your roles on your dashboard. StatsCentral emails you when it decides, and your dashboard tells you if anything is waiting on you.
What each status means
| Status | What it means | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Under review | StatsCentral is checking your application. | Wait for the email, or withdraw it. |
| Changes requested | StatsCentral needs something more. The note under the status says what. | Update the application and send it back, or withdraw it. |
| Verified | The role is approved and shows as verified on your profile. | Nothing. For a game official role, leagues can now book you in League OS. |
| Not approved | The role wasn't approved and has come off your profile. | Apply again when you have more to show. |
| Withdrawn | You took the application back. | Apply again whenever you like. |
When a role is verified
Once one of your roles is verified, Services and Bookings open in the portal. Add your services and rate, then publish your profile so leagues can book you. Verifying a role also adds its sports to your profile.
For a game official role, two more things happen once your email is confirmed: you appear in the League OS officials marketplace, and leagues can assign you to their games.
Answering a change request
- On your dashboard, find the role marked Changes requested, or the Update your application task under Needs your attention.
- Click Update. The page opens with What we need, StatsCentral's note.
- Make the change and click Send back for review.
The role goes back to Under review. The email about the change request links to the same page.
Withdrawing an application
You can withdraw an application that's Under review or Changes requested:
- On your dashboard, under Your roles, click Withdraw next to the role.
- Confirm with Withdraw.
StatsCentral stops reviewing it, and the role comes off your profile. If it was the only role on your profile, a published profile goes back to draft. A Verified role can't be withdrawn.
Edge cases
- It's taking a while — reviews are done by people. Check you gave a reference who's easy to reach, and look for a change request in your spam folder.
- A role wasn't approved — the email gives the reason. You can apply for it again when you have more experience or evidence to show.
- Bookings you already have — stay open, whatever happens to your roles later.
