When a game changes

What happens to your booking when the league moves a game, changes its venue or removes it.

Overview

Leagues reschedule games. When a game you're booked for moves to a different time, changes venue, or comes off the schedule, your booking still holds the time and place you agreed. StatsCentral flags the difference so you can both confirm the new arrangement.

How you'll know

  • You get an email saying the agreement has a schedule changed update.
  • On the booking, the game shows a warning that it changed after you agreed.
  • Activity on the booking records the change. When the game moved, it shows the new start time.

If the league moves the game back to the time and venue you agreed, the warning clears by itself, and Activity records the schedule as restored.

What it means for the game

Until you both confirm the change:

  • Your booking still says the original time and venue.
  • You can't submit work for that game.

Games that are already final aren't affected. They were played as they happened.

Confirm the new arrangement

Either side can send a revised version that picks up the game's new time and venue:

  1. Open the booking and select Propose changes.
  2. Check the game's new date and venue under Games. Arrive by, Game ends and Deliver by have already moved with the game, keeping the same gaps you agreed. Change them if the new time doesn't suit you.
  3. If you can't make the new time, untick the game to leave it out.
  4. Select Send your changes.

Once the league accepts, your booking matches the schedule again. Alternatively, wait for the league to send a revised agreement and accept it. See Proposing changes.

When a game is removed

A game the league removes from the schedule no longer appears in the form. Your next version leaves it out, and it's released when you both accept.
